Clinical
Entry Nurse Residency Program
is a two year career development program designed for new graduates.
The clinical entry nurse has a planned first-work experience that
develops the clinical skills and professional behaviors consistent
with the competent level of practice as defined by Benner.
Curriculum encompasses tutorials and other learning experiences guided
by a Clinical Sponsor, an experienced nurse who mentors the new graduate
throughout the two-year experience.
What can it do for you?
This program provides an effective way for teaching hospitals to meet
one aspect of their mission - to ensure that well-prepared nurse professionals
are available to meet the health care needs of the future.
Community hospitals and other health care agencies will have a pool
of potential nurse employees who have proven clinical capabilities
and professional behaviors.
